Cowdray - Wedding Venue
Cowdray can be hired as your wedding venue,
or just as a photograph backdrop.
Cowdray makes a stunning backdrop for your special day. Hire of this unique and beautiful Tudor building gives you full use of the grounds, with amazing views across the rest of Cowdray Park. A blessing can take place in the historic Chapel or any room you choose. Welcome receptions can be held in our open air courtyard, or under cover in the Wine Cellar or Tudor kitchen. A marquee would host the party itself, with easy access for both organisers and guests alike. Your guests would arrive via the 16 th Century iron gates, dedicated solely for your use for the day. Hire includes the opportunity to have unique wedding photos amongst the lovely walls and rooms of the house, and everything can be floodlit after dark.
The helpful, friendly staff do everything possible to make your preparations as straightforward as possible. Become one of only a handful of couples who have had the privilege of celebrating here at stunning Cowdray.
As Cowdray is open to the public at weekends from mid-March to the end of October, you share the site until 5pm with our day visitors – but we give you a separate entrance and marquee area. After 5pm the whole site is at your disposal. On Mondays and Tuesdays the site is available all day, plus from 1st November to mid-March any day except Christmas Day.
